This week has been filled with an awesome selection of tutorials and videos across crafting blogs and I have picked out my favorites of a very great week to share with you in this week's Noteworthy column:

Have a few minutes and want a good scrapbook-related laugh? You need to check out the on-line scrapbook community's newest sensation: Cleetus McDuffy. Just yesterday his third "Get Crafty with Cleetus" video was released on you tube. Who is Cleetus?
I'm an Arsty-Fartsy Scrapbookun and Crafting Addict. I LUV CATHY Z!! GIT SUM!! Host of Get Crafty with Cleetus scrapbookun show.
Collin Kartchner (husband of well known scrapbooker Elizabeth Kartchner) is the man behind the Cathy Z-loving, Shasta Drinking, former tilt-a-whirl operating phenomenon that is Cleetus. I can only hope the videos will be more frequent in the future! In the meantime, he can be found on twitter as well as facebook.
[Hey Cleetus, does this count as a toot? -- The Editor]

For a completely different craft video experience, check out the video tutorial Tim Holtz put together for using his seasonal text stamps with coordinating texture fades.
i was so excited to release these stamps and texture fades at cha-summer that can actually be used with each other (this was a great effort between stampers anonymous and sizzix). since these stamp sets and texture fades are now in stores, i thought a video was the best way to share this cool technique
The idea of stamping all different colors like this has me really excited, I'm going to have to try it!

On Kristina Werner's blog this week I was blown away by this card that you see just a glimpse of above. Such a simple - yet awesome use of baker's twine to create a Christmas card! While it may seem early, when you're hand crafting holiday cards there is no such thing as starting too early! She shares a video tutorial as well as full image of her card. The tree itself could easily be used on a tag or other paper craft project.

Speaking of holiday cards, I really like the design shared by Shari Caroll on the Hero Arts blog this week. Another one that could be created in bulk without a lot of pricey one of a kind embellishments . Resist is one of my favorite techniques these days - so the trees I found especially inspiring.

Tammy Tutterow shared a great tutorial this week for using copic markers to colorize metal embellishments.
You can add color to them [metal charms] with several different mediums like paint, pigment inks, alcohol inks, and embossing powders. One of the quickes is with alcohol ink based markers like Copics and Letraset Promarkers.
The step-by-step tutorial (a part of her "Tuesday tutorials" series) shows how to blend and use embossing powder to set the colors. Brilliant!
Finally, I have some good news in new products to share with you. Pink Paislee's mid-release "Snow Day" line is now showing up in stores, as well as more goods from Kaiser Craft and Echo Park's "Times & Seasons" line. American Crafts continues to build their brand, as this week they announced the purchase of Crate Paper. You can read Nancy's coverage of that news here. Crate Paper also announced a new mid-release, and My Mind's Eye also shared some sneak peeks of a new kraft line.
